Job Description
Responsibilities
Data Collection
- Participate in the collection of quantitative and qualitative data related to organizational programs and initiatives.
- Work closely with M&E Managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection processes.
Reporting Assistance
- Support in the preparation and generation of regular reports on M&E findings, outcomes, and program impact.
- Collaborate with M&E Managers to create visualizations and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Database Management
- Maintain organized and up-to-date databases, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of collected data.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of data management systems for efficient reporting.
Survey and Interview Coordination
- Assist in coordinating surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods as part of the M&E process.
- Uphold ethical standards and protocols during the planning and execution of data collection activities.
Documentation
- Assist in documenting M&E processes, methodologies, and findings for reference and continuous improvement.
- Organize and archive relevant documentation to ensure easy retrieval and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Entry-level position; prior experience in M&E is an asset but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated passion for impact measurement and a commitment to learning and professional development.
Analytical Skills
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data effectively.
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
Tech Savvy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with data collection tools and software is an advantage.
