Job Description
Responsibilities
Program Development
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs to design and develop infrastructure and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative and impactful infrastructure programs.
Coordination and Implementation
- Lead the coordination and implementation of infrastructure and development programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and contractors to facilitate program delivery.
Infrastructure Planning
- Develop comprehensive plans for infrastructure projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to sustainable and environmentally friendly development practices.
Budget Oversight
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage infrastructure program budgets.
- Monitor budget utilization and make strategic adjustments as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved in infrastructure and development projects, including local communities, government agencies, and contractors.
- Represent the organization at relevant forums and meetings.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of infrastructure programs.
- Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement
Capacity Building
- Provide training and capacity-building support to staff and partners involved in infrastructure and development programs.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in coordinating and implementing infrastructure and development programs, preferably in an international or global context.
- Familiarity with sustainable development principles and best practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships.
