Job Description

Responsibilities
Proposal Development
  • Assist in the development of grant proposals, applications, and funding requests.
  • Collaborate with the Resource Mobilization Manager to ensure proposals align with organizational goals.
Grant Research
  • Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities from various sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Compile and maintain a database of potential donors.
Donor Communications
  • Support in maintaining regular communication with donors and funding partners.
  • Assist in preparing reports and updates on funded projects.
Event Support
  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising initiatives.
Administrative Tasks
  • Provide general administrative support to the Resource Mobilization team.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records related to fundraising activities.
Budget Assistance
  • Support in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets for funding proposals.
  • Collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure budget compliance.
Networking
  • Support in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets for funding proposals.

Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fundraising, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or internship in fundraising or resource mobilization is advantageous.
  • Passion for philanthropy and a willingness to learn.
Communication Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Detail-Oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Ability to organize and manage information efficiently.
