Job Description
Responsibilities
Proposal Development
- Assist in the development of grant proposals, applications, and funding requests.
- Collaborate with the Resource Mobilization Manager to ensure proposals align with organizational goals.
Grant Research
- Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities from various sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Compile and maintain a database of potential donors.
Donor Communications
- Support in maintaining regular communication with donors and funding partners.
- Assist in preparing reports and updates on funded projects.
Event Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising initiatives.
Administrative Tasks
- Provide general administrative support to the Resource Mobilization team.
- Maintain organized documentation and records related to fundraising activities.
Budget Assistance
- Support in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets for funding proposals.
- Collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure budget compliance.
Networking
- Support in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets for funding proposals.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fundraising, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role or internship in fundraising or resource mobilization is advantageous.
- Passion for philanthropy and a willingness to learn.
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Detail-Oriented
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Ability to organize and manage information efficiently.
