Job Description
Responsibilities
Community Engagement
- Build positive relationships with communities, understanding their needs and aspirations.
- Facilitate community meetings and gatherings to promote collaboration.
Project Implementation
- Implement and oversee projects in designated communities.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, objectives, and budget constraints.
Needs Assessment
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify community priorities.
- Collaborate with community members to develop tailored solutions.
Data Collection
- Collect and maintain accurate data on project progress, community demographics, and impact.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders
Training and Capacity Building
- Provide training and capacity-building initiatives to community members.
- Empower communities to actively participate in project activities.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication among project partners.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor project activities and outcomes.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of interventions.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience in community development, social work, or related fields is advantageous.
- Passion for grassroots engagement and making a positive impact.
Communication Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to connect with diverse community members.
