Job Description
Responsibilities
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation, compliance activities, and policy development.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization.
Document Preparation
- Assist in the drafting and preparation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Record Maintenance
- Maintain organized and up-to-date legal records, including contracts, intellectual property, and legal correspondence.
- Create and manage legal databases.
Case Support
- Provide administrative support to legal teams during case preparations and legal proceedings.
- Assist in coordinating legal activities and deadlines.
Communication
- Assist in communication with external legal partners, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Draft routine legal correspondence under supervision.
Compliance Assistance
- Support the legal team in ensuring organizational compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist in legal reviews and assessments.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Entry-level position, with a passion for law and legal affairs.
- Relevant internship or coursework is a plus.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply legal principles.
Communication Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
