Job Description
Responsibilities
Program Development
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs to design and develop sustainable agriculture initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative and impactful agriculture programs.
Coordination and Implementation
- Lead the coordination and implementation of agriculture programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate program delivery.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of agriculture programs.
- Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Budget Oversight
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage agriculture program budgets.
- Monitor budget utilization and make strategic adjustments as needed.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive reports on agriculture program activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all agriculture-related initiatives
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with other program coordinators and teams to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to program delivery.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Proven experience in coordinating and implementing agriculture programs, preferably in an international or global context.
- Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture principles and best practices.
Collaboration
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships.
Communication Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
