Job Description
Responsibilities
Program Development
- Work closely with the Director of Programs to design and develop health-focused initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative and impactful health programs.
Coordination and Implementation
- Lead the coordination and implementation of health programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate program delivery.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of health programs.
- Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Budget Oversight
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage health program budgets.
- Monitor budget utilization and make strategic adjustments as needed.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health program activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all health-related initiatives.
Capacity building
- Provide training and capacity-building support to staff and partners involved in health programs.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in coordinating and implementing health programs, preferably in an international or global context.
- Strong understanding of public health principles and best practices.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and analyze health-related data.
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex health information clearly to diverse audiences.
