Job Description

Responsibilities
Program Development
  • Collaborate with the Director of Programs to design and develop sustainable agriculture initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative and impactful agriculture programs.

Coordination and Implementation
  • Lead the coordination and implementation of agriculture programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate program delivery.
Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of agriculture programs.
  • Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Budget Oversight
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage agriculture program budgets.
  • Monitor budget utilization and make strategic adjustments as needed.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on agriculture program activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all agriculture-related initiatives
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other program coordinators and teams to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to program delivery.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and implementing agriculture programs, preferably in an international or global context.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture principles and best practices.
Collaboration
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships.
Communication Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in numeracy skills and good
    computer skills(Excel Especially, Word)
